Today we got to London. This is where I lived when I was 1-2 years old. When we got to the house we liked it but something seemed off. More on that later….

Then we went to Paddington Park. It’s based off of Paddington Bear. There was a Paddington statue, mini houses and train station, and other stuff from the book. It was made mostly of wood and metal but was super fun. We really liked the BIG spinny table.

The next day, we toured around the Green Park area in front of Buckingham Palace. There were lots of pigeons here. Our parents told us this is where we first began our love of chasing pigeons when we were little. Then we checked out Buckingham Palace, where King Charles lives. We actually didn’t get to see the official changing of the guard (not the right day) but they had some sort changing of the cavalry guard which was cool. Then we walked down to the Prime Minister’s house on Downing Street. That is where we saw our first sighting of tiny construction workers (see picture below).

After that, we walked along the Thames, seeing Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, a weird trash eater in the river, and LOTS of parks. We also got to try Nando’s for the first time (that we remember) and LOVED it. Especially the bottomless ice cream. Finally, we made our way to Princess Diana’s Gardens where we played on the Peter Pan playground (a place we loved to play at when we were little). It has Captain Hook’s ship, teepees, the crocodile and all sorts of fun hiding spots for tag.
