Scotland

One day when we were in London our apartment was really stinky and there was mold everywhere so we rented a car and drove up to one of the friends of my mom’s sister where we only stayed for one night but we had a really tasty dinner of chicken, potatoes, carrots, corn, and for dessert we had some cheese cake. The next day we packed up and went to Edinburgh but we didn’t get an apartment. When we were there we walked around the city seeing cool things like a big tower and we hiked up a hill to cool monuments but we didn’t go up Arthur’s seat (a big mountain) because it was so foggy we couldn’t see the top. At one point we went to Edinburgh Castle where we heard the firing of the gun which happens at one o’clock every day. Then we went through a giant gallery that took about 40 minutes, then we went to the wall and saw some canons. After that we went to the prison inside of the castle and we saw where the prisoners slept and what they ate and personally I think they were very well fed. It was cold up in Edinburgh so at one point we went to Black Sheep Coffee (a coffee shop) and got some hot chocolate and we used a machine where we could put in a name for the people that work there would call out when our drinks were ready and we put in the name random guy so the people said random guy when our drinks where ready and it was super funny. Later we had time to spare so we went to a big playground that was super fun. Then after about fifteen minutes we had to leave Edinburgh and go to a new spot in Scotland called Northumberland which we will talk about in another post.
