Our apartment in Rome was entered through massive double-doors into what looked like a construction site, and while renovations were no doubt being made on the bottom floor, the upper levels were actually airBNBs or hotels. Our room was called galaxy hotel and each room was themed a different planet, ours was Earth. We naturally ate pizza for dinner which was really good. The next day we travelled to the Colosseum where we took a tour to the subterranean levels of it, where the gladiators prepared and various mechanisms would be worked. Next, we took a tour of the ancient remains of all the buildings around the Colosseum. The latter tour was actually superior to the first as our guide was a very knowledgeable historian who spoke amazing English and was funny. At the end of the tour we got to see the cremated remains of Julius Caesar. After, we went to a Lego gallery which contained huge Lego sculptures and scenes from things like Star Wars, Game of Thrones, and Fortnite.
