We arrived in Phu Quoc from Malaysia and were met with a large amount of people hawking taxis(this has nothing to do with anything else I’m just saying it). We eventually found an uber(or a grab, as they call it in Asia). After a rather long ride, we finally discovered we were almost at it. All we needed to do was just turn down some shady-looking dirt roads. We were all questioning the legitimacy of this hotel when we arrived. It was small and with practically no one inside with a massive pool dominating the centre of it. Our room was spacious but lacked any commodities(save for a small kitchen)besides necessities. Several other families had already arrived, including the hosts who we had met in Granada (see here https://debsquest.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1280&action=edit#/).
Th following day at breakfast, we learned how to play pool and played ping pong with others. Quite a number of families had arrived late at night so now the resort was much more occupied. The resort even limited the amount of non-hub patrons allowed there which meant those of the hub were some of the only people there. We made matching, traditional Vietnamese hats that we all(including several other friends we had made) drew the same thing on.
