I went to the Maritime Museum in Greenwich, and it was awesome! It’s a big place all about ships, the sea, and people who sailed around the world. When I walked in, I saw a giant ship in a bottle — it was HUGE! It looked like magic how they got it inside the bottle.

Inside the museum, there were lots of cool things. I saw old ship wheels, shiny medals, and even uniforms that sailors used to wear. There was a room where you could pretend to steer a ship. I tried it and almost crashed into an island (oops!).

There were stories about brave sailors and explorers who went on long journeys. Some even went to the North Pole, where it’s super cold and icy! I also saw model ships with tiny cannons and sails. They were so detailed, it felt like they could really sail away.

The best part was the interactive zone where kids can play and learn. I got to dress up like a captain and shout, “Ahoy, matey!”.

When we left, we walked to the park nearby and saw the big ship called the Cutty Sark. It’s an old tea ship, and it looks amazing.

I had such a fun time at the Maritime Museum. I learned a lot about the sea and ships! 🚢⚓
