First Day in Kyushu

On April 20th we didn’t do as much as other days. We went to two onsens. One thing about onsens is that it is public and you go in naked so at first I did not want to do it. Once we got in the onsen it was very relaxing. The first onsen was very big. It had a hot spring that was very hot, it had a shower room with soap and a cold pool. The onsen even had a small room with heating lamps that made us sweat. After the first onsen we went to another onsen, but this one had sulfur water and it smelled like eggs. The second onsen was smaller and was way too hot so we liked the first one more. The rest of the day we just played outside and made dinner.

  1. Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your content seem to be running off the screen in Ie. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know. The style and design look great though! Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Thanks

  2. I enjoyed how this post captures the quieter side of traveling in Kyushu. Not every day needs to be packed with sightseeing, and spending time at two different onsens sounds like a good way to slow down and experience something very local. The contrast between the larger onsen with hot and cold pools and the smaller sulfur onsen was especially interesting, since those little details are what make a travel diary feel personal. The photos also do a great job of preserving the atmosphere of the day. For travel memories like these, I sometimes use PicWav (https://picwav.com/) to turn a few static photos into short motion clips, which can add another layer to a trip recap without needing to film everything. Moments like this are often the ones you remember most.
