We had been at Fukui for several days but the kids we were staying with had mostly been at school the entire time so we didn’t get to hang out with the as much as we should have. My mom had the idea to take them somewhere to play but the only one of the kids who wanted to come was the seven year-old. We took her to a place called Angel Land (Odd name, right?). Fortunately, it was relatively empty which meant we got the massive playground all to ourselves. There were many unique pieces but our favourite was a massive raised platform with two white hills on it. But it was bouncy. Not as bouncy as a trampoline but more of a bouncy house. We spent a hour or so on this before getting ice cream from a vending machine (They have vending machines for everything in Japan).
